Our Partners

DNR Park Service-Patuxent River State Park  Twice a year, we sponsor clean ups that include State Parklands.  Located in Howard and Montgomery counties, along the upper 12 miles of the Patuxent River, the park is comprised of 6,700 acres of natural areas and farmlands. Recreational use is primarily hunting, fishing, hiking and horseback riding.

Maryland-National Park and Planning Commission for Montgomery County. The Montgomery County Planning Department focuses its skills and talents to bring high-quality design in both form and function to all areas, from central business districts to rural villages. The Montgomery County Department of Parks remains dedicated to making sure that residents continue to receive the best park experience possible.

Montgomery County Adopt-A-Road Progam  sponsored by the Department of Transportation, with resident volunteers who ‘adopt’ and keep road segments clean.  Our Chapter has adopted Mullinix Mill Road from Damascus Road to the Patuxent River.

Stadler’s Nursery and Garden Center in Gaithersburg.  Supplying native trees and shrubs for our reforestation projects at a considerable discount.

Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) Environmental Stewardship leads activities and outreach to promote stewardship of the Triadelphia and Rocky Gorge Reservoirs on the Patuxent River.
